"We had a glorious stay at Yarrabee during a weekend trip to indulge in a long lunch at Brae. The house is beautifully presented with a sweeping view over the valley; just like in the pictures. We had a group of 5, and the open plan living area was perfect for cooking and sharing a bottle of wine over some card games. The beds were super comfortable. The kitchen full of handy gadgets, and the furnishings created a sense of elegance and class. The location is just around the corner from a small local winery and an easy 30 min morning walk to Dean's Marsh for a surprisingly great general store. We'd recommend Yarrabee to anyone looking for a weekend getaway or longer stay in the area." Peter stayed in February 2017
Pennyroyal is a place our friends have been visiting for years!
With the ease of being able to take our dog, along with the sensible cost for the night, this is a no brainer.
We stayed in the Honeysuckle Lodge which is perfect for a couple. We had people staying either side of us but never saw a soul.
The goats and cows coming past were a treat for dog and kept him interested!
Approx 20mins drive from Lorne, if your looking for a peaceful escape that's still close enough to town, this property is perfect.
Booking Pennyroyal was pain free and Jasmina who I dealt with was an absolute star.
We absolutely loved Original Cottage and its location, as did our dog Lottie. We look forward very much to a return visit. Thank you for your hospitality.
I found pennyroyal farm by accident online whilst looking for somwhere different to suprise my girlfriend the weekend i was planning to propose.
We arrived at banksia cottage on the Friday evening and were pleasantly suprised by the cottage. It had everything a group of 6 could ask for. Safe outdoor area for a dog, bbq, log fire, large fridge dvds and the whole place was immaculately clean .
And it being so close to the ocean road as well its fantastic value for money. We will definitely be visiting again and would recommend to anyone. Theres a small cafe/bottlo down the road also and gentle annies pick your own fruit also is worth a visit .
Thank you so much for a fantastic stay pennyroyal .
We stayed at The Dairy at Pennyroyal Farm in April in order to attend a wedding.
The Dairy was a superb place to stay. Totally secluded, quiet and peaceful, and extremely well appointed
There is a big spa bath in the middle of the lounge - fantastic.
You can go on an enjoyable stroll amongst the wildlife and domestic animals on the surrounding farm and then retreat to secured, blissful cosiness. It was definitely a memorable stay.
We stayed at Vine Cottage and our Jack Russell came along with us. The accommodation was very comfortable and the owners, very welcoming. The goats added a lot of entertainment and the view from the balcony, across the vineyard and farmland was very peaceful. We would stay again, without hesitation! Gentle Annie's berry farm and a trip to Lorne are must do activities!
