COTTAGES

  • Behave responsibly during your stay. Loud yelling, screaming, cheering and aggressive behaviour is NOT acceptable and may result in the early termination of your stay if a complaint is received.

  • No additional accommodation is permitted on site such as tents, caravans, campervans without prior approval.

  • Do not use outdoor areas for loud activity between 10pm & 8am

  • Place all waste into the bins provided prior to leaving

CODE OF CONDUCT requires guests to:

  • Please be mindful while enjoying your stay that surrounding neighbours live in this community and are entitled to peace and amenity in their residential area..

  • A serious breach of the Code of Conduct may result in the termination of your booking agreement and require you to immediately vacate the property.

RESPECT

Conduct & noise

  • All accommodation is to be paid for in full prior to commencement of stay unless otherwise agreed.

  • Banks transfer is the preferred method of payment. Payment can also be made by Visa or MasterCard for a small fee.

Payment

  • We require details of a MasterCard or Visa for our security.

  • The cost of any damage to the property, excessive cleaning, or missing linen caused by the guest or any other occupants is recoverable and will be charged to your card.

  • Please advise of any damage or breakages to the property prior to your departure.

Security

  • A deposit of 50% is required to secure a booking. Final payment is due 72 hours prior to arrival.

  • Cancellation 30+ days prior to arrival – full refund of deposit.

  • Cancellation 14-30 days prior to arrival – 50% refund of deposit.

  • Cancellation less than 14 days prior to arrival -100% deposit forfeited.

  • All requests for cancellations and amendments to bookings must be submitted in writing.

  • The number of occupants must not exceed the number agreed upon booking. Any amendments to the agreed number of occupants must be made in writing/email prior to arrival and are subject to approval.

Cancellation Terms

  • In the event of Government directions not to enter an area (eg: during or after a flood, bushfire, etc) or such event causing the property or access roads to be unserviceable, either PFC the Guest will have the right to cancel the booking without occurring fees or liability. In this event the contract will be deemed to be ‘frustrated’.

  • In the event of an extreme high fire danger warning, PFC will offer a credit toward a future booking should the guest wish to postpone their stay.

Cancellation due to natural disaster or Government direction. PFC is located in a rural setting and as such is susceptible to natural disasters. 

  • We are on tank water – please keep showering time to a minimum. 

  • Cars may NOT be washed on the property.

  • We ask you do not use the Acacia Cottage spa after 10pm or before 8am as a courtesy to other guests.

  • Do not add ANY product to the spa water. An excessively dirty spa will incur a  cleaning and refilling fee.

  • CHILDREN MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES WHEN IN THE SPA.

  • Never allow pets into the spa.

  • Do NOT flush any sanitary products or foreign objects down the toilet. If a blockage occurs due to foreign objects being flushed, the guest will be liable for the plumbing costs.

  • In situations where the cottage becomes uninhabitable, all reasonable endeavors will be made to offer you alternative holiday accommodation but without liability.

  • Smoking is NOT permitted inside the cottages. All cigarette butts must be removed by the guests prior to departure.

Property Maintenance and Utilities

  • We welcome well-behaved dogs. There is a Pet Levy of $20 per dog per visit. Maximum of 2 dogs per cottage.

  • Do not allow pets on beds.

  • Pets must not be left alone on the property (either inside or out) without prior arrangement with management.

  • Constant barking and/or howling will not be tolerated under any circumstances and may result in the termination of the booking.

  • Please check the garden areas thoroughly before you leave and clean up any mess left by your pets. Failure to do so will incur additional charges.

  • Your pets are an extension of you. You will be charged for any damage caused by your pets.  

  • Excessive cleaning of dog hair may also incur a cost.

PETS

  • PFC takes no responsibility for your, or your guests’ personal property during your stay or items left at the property on departure.

  • We will endeavor to recover and return items left in your cottage but take no responsibility. Items returned by post will incur postage. Large items will only be held in our office for a period of 5 weeks before they are donated to charity.
